Frequently Asked Questions
Will the holes align with my Ryobi 5-hole sander?
Not compatible. Standard 8-hole sanding discs can only be physically attached to Ryobi/Ridgid 5-hole backing pads, with dust extraction holes completely misaligned. This results in extremely poor dust suction, severe dust clogging and rapid premature wear of the discs. To ensure dust extraction performance and extend the service life of sanding discs and power tools, 5-hole machines must use our dedicated 5-hole ceramic mesh sanding discs. We recommend our multi-hole or mesh series products.
Can I use 6" discs on a 5" sander?
No. Never use a disc larger than your backing pad. It is dangerous and will damage your project.
